Joshua has spent more than 20 years in wealth management, starting his career at a top California estate planning firm before going on to lead a team of financial advisers across California and later working with both Merrill Lynch and Wells Fargo Advisors, where he managed well over $100 million in client assets.

In 2019, Joshua set out on his own to build something different: an advisory practice built around transparent, lower-cost fees, portfolios tailored to each client rather than a one-size-fits-all model, and the kind of personal attention that gets lost at larger firms. That practice became Gateway Capital Management, and it's the same fiduciary standard that stands behind every 401K Pilot client today.

Joshua holds a B.S. from the University of Arizona and a master's degree from San Diego State University. He's lived in the greater Phoenix area for nearly two decades, where he and his wife are raising two daughters. When he's not reviewing portfolios, he's usually training for his next climb — his summits include Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Aconcagua, and Mount Rainier, along with an Everest Base Camp trek. He's also an active volunteer with his church's community outreach programs in Scottsdale, supporting local families through Adopt-A-Family and St. Vincent de Paul.
